Martin Insurance Group is looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic Senior Product Sales team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make proactive outbound calls in an effort to quote and bind insurance products coverage for our partnering agents throughout the country.
  • Aggressively work internet leads, direct mail, cross-sell, and referral lists by making proactive outbound calls and hitting desired activity ratios. Sales Representatives are expected to make 100+ outbound calls per day.
  • Develops base for long-term sources of clients by using referrals, occupational and special-interest groups to compile lists of prospects.
  • Implement effective cross sell campaigns and follow procedures to round out client accounts.
  • Sell insurance through various prospect contact touch points such as telephone, email and/or internet.

  • Prepare insurance quotes to prospects and use assumptive closing techniques to close sales.
  • Obtains underwriting approval by completing application for coverage.
  • Persuasive negotiation skills and highly effective listening and communications skills.
  • Facilitate a sales culture to maximize retention, customer satisfaction, and up-sell and cross sell opportunities with each customer interaction.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances insurance agency reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Education and Experience:

  • No experience required.
  • If experienced must have a NJ health & life Insurance producer license.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Internet Explorer).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
